In Finnish, they say "split, cut and stack the firewood" when something needs to be done quickly and efficiently. Such words well describe the early stages of the Mallow--Barona collaboration, when Barona -- Finland's largest personnel services company -- reached out to Mallow.

Henri Hietala, an Azure architect from Mallow involved in the project, explains that Barona had a backlog ready to be implemented. After about a month and a half of work, Barona was able to offer its corporate customers a single sign-on portal running on Azure with an improved user experience and additional services.

The project was completed on time and within budget. Communication stayed smooth throughout, and Barona's team got a clear view of what to leverage from Azure.

One of Azure's many great features is how easy it is to build dashboards for managing user data and for reporting. Barona's previous corporate customer portal didn't allow for precise monitoring and reporting of service users, so Hietala suggested adding dashboards into the new portal.

According to Haakana, the collaboration brought broader value than the project's initial scope suggested. Mallow's experience with cloud security and DevOps opened new software development options for Barona.
